We work to ensure that people from all Rhode Island communities have the freedom to learn, practice, and share the craft of creative writing, and readers have access to creative writing that reflects the entire diversity of the state.

Will you help support this essential community-building work?

LitArts RI is the only statewide organization providing shared creative workspace, year-round writing groups representing a myriad of writing genres and practices, craft workshops and professional development practicums, a monthly B/I/POC Coffee Hour, a resource-rich e-newsletter of opportunities, a Community Access Lottery to better ensure equitable access to services, showcases and monthly open mics, a local writers library, and a space where writers across ages, identities, genres, and zip codes can find, create, and cultivate a supportive community.
